Goals:
1. To provide a strong collection which utilizes
material reflecting the interests of patrons, as evidenced by
utilization, and which includes, even with a low level of
utilization, materials to meet the reference and intellectual
requirements of a wide variety of residents.
2. To provide information not in the library
collection.
3. To provide a service-oriented staff who demonstrate
competent, cooperative assistance to patrons.
4. To be sensitive to the requirements of the
community, to be cooperative with the community, and to seek
community input regarding library service.
5. To provide ready access with convenient hours, in a
properly maintained facility for all segments of the
community.
6. To provide special services to community
organizations, including meeting space, exhibits of art,
crafts, and other matters of community interest.
